Yes, there is a lot of Quests to do, but you do not _have_ to do them (you do though earn money and stuff so it's good to do them). And to play it as a single player game is not smart, since you XP _much_ faster if u team up (and it's very fun, if you find a good team with some sense of humour). Me myself doesn't team alot, but that's because I like playing buy my self rather then with strangers, but when I have reached some of my friends lvls I will start play with them. Just give it some time, learn how all your skills work, get to know some people, and I swear, you will love it
