In DX9 mode Warhead will run significantly and noticeably faster. Expect at least 20%, conservatively. Just insert “-dx9” with a space after the .exe in your shortcut. Then kick up the detail level with your frames dividend, to get DX9 looking better than Dx10.
DX10 may have its place in slower paced games, or where the screen is more or less static (like CoH), but for a lush FPS it’s rubbish. Even if you’re sporting dual 4870X2s – you’ll still get better performance with DX9, by tweaking the game up beyond the ‘enthusiast’ settings using the custom configs readily available on fansites. Beyond-enthusiast draw distances and texture detail are sweet to run, as you can easily enable most of the DX10 settings with command line tweaks, or by inserting commands in an aotoexec.cfg file.

þannig að þetta kemur út í A+ . Mér er alveg sama þótt það komi ekki einhver fancy mega glans á geimverurnar.
